If you are interested in doing business with the State of Texas and local government, you will need to know your NIGP codes.

NIGP codes are industry codes that describe the goods and services (including construction) that the State of Texas and many local government agencies purchase and they also describe the goods and services you want to sell to government. When you complete your vendor registration with a government agency that uses NIGP codes, it is important that you enter all of your codes in your registration.
