Government certification programs may provide minorities, women, small business, and persons with disabilities (includes Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) prime contract and subcontract opportunities. In this workshop, we will introduce you to the certification programs and discuss the eligibility criteria for programs such as the 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, state of TX HUB, MBE, WBE, DBE and SBE.

The objective of the workshop is to provide you a basic understanding of the certifications available with federal, state, and local government and their eligibility criteria.

Target Audience: This workshop is intended for individuals that want to learn about the socio and economically-disadvantaged certification programs available with federal, state, and local government.
